Morocco Visa Requirements
Document preparation is a critical step in the Morocco eVisa application process.
The sections below explain what to submit and why each document is required.
The eVisa allows short-term stays. Your travel purpose determines whether you apply for a Tourist eVisa or a Business eVisa.
Documents Required for All Applicants
These documents apply to all applicants, regardless of nationality.
1. Passport Bio Page
Your passport must:
- Be valid for at least 6 months from the date you arrive in Morocco
- Clearly show your name, date of birth, passport number, MRZ code and issuing authority.
Use a clear, full-page scan with no shadows or reflections.
2. Applicant’s Photo
The photo must:
- Be taken within the last 6 months
- Be in color
- Have a plain white or off-white background
- Show your whole face, facing forward, with a natural expression
Do not upload scanned or heavily edited photos.
Additional Supporting Documents (Only Required for Certain Nationalities)
Submit only ONE of the following, if required for your nationality.
Check the Morocco eVisa Policy to confirm.
Option A - Residence Permit
A residence permit/card valid for at least 180 days from the date of application, issued by one of the following:
A Schengen Area Country, Ireland, United States, Australia, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Canada, Japan, or New Zealand.
Option B - Multiple-entry Sticker Visa
A physical multiple-entry visa valid for at least 90 days from the application date, issued by one of the following:
A Schengen Area Country, Ireland, Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, United Kingdom or United States.

1. Which document should I upload?
Upload only ONE document: a Residence Permit or a Multiple-Entry Visa.
2. What if I have both documents?
Upload the document that is valid and clearly visible.
3. What if my document is in another language?
Documents in other languages are accepted if personal details are readable.
UK Supporting Document Policy - Morocco eVisa
Review the UK-specific document rules before applying.
Mandatory Requirement
- A UK Immigration Status Share Code is required when using an old UK Residence Permit (BRP).
- Your UK Immigration Status will be verified online using the Share Code, and the Immigration Status must be valid for at least 180 days from the date of submission.
Required Documents
Upload ONE of the following:
- Old UK Residence Permit (BRP) - front and back pages with Share Code Document
OR - Valid UK Visa - the Share Code is not required
Not Accepted
- UK ETA
- Expired UK Visa, even if a Share Code is provided (valid or invalid).
- Expired residence permits without a valid Share Code / Immigration Status
- Pre-settled status (limited leave to remain) shown in UK Immigration Status
- Immigration status valid for less than 180 days.
Important Notice
Applications with missing or invalid documents will be rejected.
Fees are non-refundable.
Additional Requirement for Morocco eTA Applicants
All Morocco eTA applicants must upload bank statements from the last 3 months.
The bank statements must have:
- Sufficient available balance
- Continuous financial transactions (salary, transfers, purchases, etc.)
- Official bank-issued PDF (not mobile screenshots)
- Your name and account details clearly visible
Maintain at least €70 per day of your planned stay.
Note: This requirement does NOT apply to Morocco eVisa applicants.
Additional Requirement for Business eVisa Applicants
Business eVisa applicants must submit one document confirming the purpose of travel.
- An invitation letter from a company in Morocco
- A meeting confirmation
- A document showing business cooperation or partnership
The document must clearly show your name, organisation details, and purpose of visit.
1. Who should issue the invitation letter or meeting confirmation?
It must be issued by the Moroccan organisation you are visiting.
2. Does the document need to be on company letterhead?
Yes. Business documents should ideally be on official letterhead, signed and stamped.
3. Can I submit an email screenshot instead of a letter?
No. Email screenshots are not accepted.
4. I am applying for a Tourist eVisa. Do I need this?
No. Tourist eVisa applicants do not need to upload any business documents.
Documents Required Upon Arrival in Morocco
At arrival, officers may request documents to confirm eligibility.

If you used a Residence Permit or Multiple-Entry Sticker Visa during your eVisa application, you must carry that same document and present it at the border.
