Morocco Visa Requirements

Preparing the right documents is an important part of the Morocco eVisa application process.

The sections below explain which documents you need to submit and why they are required.

The eVisa is for short-term stays. Your reason for travel will determine whether you need a Tourist eVisa or a Business eVisa.

UK residents do not need to provide a residence permit. Instead, they can provide:

Submit any one of the following:

  1. Invitation Letter from a Moroccan Company

Extra Requirements for Minor Travellers

  • Parent/Guardian’s Passport Biopage Scan
  • Birth Certificate of the Minor
  • A Travel Authorisation Signed by Parent/Guardian and Certified by Competent Authority

Documents Required for All Applicants

These documents apply to all applicants, regardless of nationality.

1. Passport Biopage Scan

Your passport must:

  • Be valid for at least 3 months from the date you arrive in Morocco
  • Clearly show your name, date of birth, passport number, MRZ code and issuing authority.

Use a clear, full-page scan with no shadows or reflections.

2. Applicant’s Photo

The photo must:

  • Be taken within the last 6 months
  • Be in color
  • Have a plain white or off-white background
  • Show your whole face, facing forward, with a natural expression

Additional Supporting Documents for Certain Nationalities

Depending on your nationality, you must submit any ONE of the following supporting documents, in addition to the common requirements listed above.

Check the Morocco eVisa policy to see if your nationality requires an additional document.

Option A: Residence Permit

A residence permit/card valid for at least 180 days from the date of application, issued by one of the following:

A Schengen Area Country, Ireland, United States, Australia, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Canada, Japan, or New Zealand.

A physical multiple-entry visa valid for at least 90 days from the application date, issued by one of the following:

A Schengen Area Country, Ireland, Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, United Kingdom, or United States.

Read This Before You Upload:

1. Which document do I need to upload?

Upload ONE document: either a valid Residence Permit or a Multiple-Entry Visa.

2. What if I have both documents available?

Upload the document that is currently valid and has all details clearly visible.

3. What if my document is in another language?

You can upload it as long as your name and other personal details are clearly visible.

The UK resident must provide a UK share code: 

  • The Share Code must be active and usable when submitted.
  • The Share Code must start with “S”.

Note: Using the share code provided by the applicant, we will confirm their UK immigration status and its validity.

How can I get my UK Immigration Share Code?

Steps to Get Your UK Immigration Share Code

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to the UK authorities’ website: View and prove your immigration status
  2. Sign in to your UKVI account
  3. Select “Prove your status”
  4. When asked what you need the Share Code for, select “Something else”
  5. Select “Create a share code”
  6. Make sure the Share Code starts with “S”
  7. Download the PDF and upload it with your application

UK Immigration Status

Your immigration status in the UK must meet the following validity condition.

At least 180 days validity is required for UK immigration status such as:

  • Skilled Worker Route
  • Dependent
  • Student

Other types of immigration status must have at least 90 days of validity.

What is Not Accepted?

  • UK ETA
  • Expired residence permit without a valid UK digital immigration status
  • UK Pre-Settled Status
  • Immigration status that does not meet the required validity period stated above

Important Notice: Applications with missing or invalid documents will be rejected. Fees are non-refundable.

Additional Requirement for Morocco eTA Applicants

Bank Statement

Upload bank statements from the last 3 months.

The bank statements must have:

  • Sufficient available balance
  • Continuous financial transactions (salary, transfers, purchases, etc.)
  • Official bank-issued PDF (not mobile screenshots)

Maintain at least €70 per day of your planned stay.

Note: This requirement does NOT apply to Morocco eVisa applicants.

Residence Proof Issued by the Country of Usual Residence

Submit valid residence permit, sticker visa or national ID card issued by the applicant’s country of usual residence.

Additional Requirement for Business eVisa Applicants

Business eVisa applicants must submit one document confirming the purpose of travel.

  • An invitation letter from a company in Morocco
  • A meeting confirmation
  • A document showing business cooperation or partnership

The document must clearly show your name, organisation details, and purpose of visit.

Documents Required for Minors

For minor travellers, submit the following documents in addition to the applicable requirements listed above:

  1. Parent/Guardian’s Passport: A scan of the biopage from the parent’s or legal guardian’s passport biopage.
  2. Birth Certificate: The minor’s birth certificate showing their basic details.
  3. Signed Travel Authorisation: A signed permission letter from a parent/legal guardian allowing a minor to travel to Morocco is required. To be valid, the signature must be officially certified (notarized) by an authorised notary public or government registrar in your home country.

If any other documents are needed, support will contact you via email.

Documents Required Upon Arrival in Morocco

At arrival, officers may request documents to confirm eligibility.

Required for All Travelers

Valid passport (minimum 6-month validity from arrival date)
Approved Morocco eVisa
Return or onward ticket
Proof of financial means (at least 70€ per day of stay)
Travel insurance (optional, but recommended)

Required Only If Applicable

Any supporting document used during your eVisa application, such as a residence permit, sticker visa, or national ID card, must also be carried with you when travelling to Morocco.
