Morocco Visa Requirements
Preparing the right documents is an important part of the Morocco eVisa application process.
The sections below explain which documents you need to submit and why they are required.
The eVisa is for short-term stays. Your reason for travel will determine whether you need a Tourist eVisa or a Business eVisa.

UK residents do not need to provide a residence permit. Instead, provide ONE of the following:
- Valid UK Share Code, OR
- UK Immigration Status Document

Submit any one of the following:
- Invitation Letter from a Moroccan Company

Documents Required for All Applicants
These documents apply to all applicants, regardless of nationality.
1. Passport Biopage Scan
Your passport must:
- Be valid for at least 3 months from the date you arrive in Morocco
- Clearly show your name, date of birth, passport number, MRZ code and issuing authority.
Use a clear, full-page scan with no shadows or reflections.
2. Applicant’s Photo
The photo must:
- Be taken within the last 6 months
- Be in color
- Have a plain white or off-white background
- Show your whole face, facing forward, with a natural expression
Do not upload scanned or heavily edited photos.
Additional Supporting Documents for Certain Nationalities
Depending on your nationality, you must submit any ONE of the following supporting documents, in addition to the common requirements listed above.
Check the Morocco eVisa policy to see if your nationality requires an additional document.
Option A: Residence Permit
A residence permit/card valid for at least 180 days from the date of application, issued by one of the following:
A Schengen Area Country, Ireland, United States, Australia, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Canada, Japan, or New Zealand.
Option B: Multiple-entry Sticker Visa
A physical multiple-entry visa valid for at least 90 days from the application date, issued by one of the following:
A Schengen Area Country, Ireland, Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, United Kingdom, or United States.
Read This Before You Upload:
1. Which document do I need to upload?
Upload ONE document: either a valid Residence Permit or a Multiple-Entry Visa.
2. What if I have both documents available?
Upload the document that is currently valid and has all details clearly visible.
3. What if my document is in another language?
You can upload it as long as your name and other personal details are clearly visible.
UK Supporting Document Policy for Morocco eVisa
Depending on your selection when applying, you must provide ONE of the following requirements:
OPTION 1: Valid UK Share Code or UK Immigration Status Document
Valid UK Share Code Document
You can provide a UK immigration share code to verify your residence status in the UK.
Steps to Get Your UK Immigration Share Code
If you have a UK eVisa, Settled Status, or Indefinite Status, follow these steps:
- Go to the UK authorities’ website: View and prove your immigration status
- Sign in to your UKVI account
- Select “Prove your status”
- When asked what you need the Share Code for, select “Something else”
- Select “Create a share code”
- Make sure the Share Code starts with “S”
- Download the PDF and upload it with your application
Important: Only a Share Code starting with “S” is accepted. Other types of UK Share Codes cannot be used for this verification.
How long your UK digital visa/status must be valid:
- Student, Skilled Worker, or Family Visa: Your digital visa must be valid for at least 90 days after your planned arrival date.
- Settled or Indefinite Status: Your digital status must be valid for at least 180 days after your planned arrival date.
UK Immigration Status Document
Upload a digital document showing your immigration status in the UK. It must clearly show:
- Your full name
- Your nationality
- Your date of birth
- How long is your status valid (validity period)
OPTION 2: A Valid Multiple-Entry Sticker Visa for the UK
As mentioned above, a valid UK multiple-entry visa with at least 90 days of validity from the date of arrival must be uploaded.
It must clearly show all the details, including the applicant’s name and expiry date.
What is Not Accepted?
- UK ETA
- Expired UK visa, even if a Share Code is provided
- Expired residence permit without a valid UK digital immigration status
- UK Pre-Settled Status
- Immigration status that does not meet the required validity period stated above
Important Notice
Applications with missing or invalid documents will be rejected.
Fees are non-refundable.
Additional Requirement for Morocco eTA Applicants
All Morocco eTA applicants must upload bank statements from the last 3 months.
The bank statements must have:
- Sufficient available balance
- Continuous financial transactions (salary, transfers, purchases, etc.)
- Official bank-issued PDF (not mobile screenshots)
- Your name and account details clearly visible
Maintain at least €70 per day of your planned stay.
Note: This requirement does NOT apply to Morocco eVisa applicants.
Additional Requirement for Business eVisa Applicants
Business eVisa applicants must submit one document confirming the purpose of travel.
- An invitation letter from a company in Morocco
- A meeting confirmation
- A document showing business cooperation or partnership
The document must clearly show your name, organisation details, and purpose of visit.
1. Who should issue the invitation letter or meeting confirmation?
It must be issued by the Moroccan organisation you are visiting.
2. Does the document need to be on company letterhead?
Yes. Business documents should ideally be on official letterhead, signed and stamped.
3. Can I submit an email screenshot instead of a letter?
No. Email screenshots are not accepted.
4. I am applying for a Tourist eVisa. Do I need this?
No. Tourist eVisa applicants do not need to upload any business documents.
Documents Required for Minors
For minor travellers, submit the following documents in addition to the requirements listed above:
- Parent/Guardian’s Passport: A scan of the biopage from the parent’s or legal guardian’s passport.
- Birth Certificate: The minor’s birth certificate showing their basic details.
If any other documents are needed, support will contact you via email.
Documents Required Upon Arrival in Morocco
At arrival, officers may request documents to confirm eligibility.
Required for All Travelers
Valid passport (minimum 6-month validity from arrival date)
Approved Morocco eVisa
Return or onward ticket
Proof of financial means (at least 70€ per day of
stay)
Travel insurance (optional, but recommended)
Required Only If Applicable
If you used a Residence Permit or Multiple-Entry Sticker Visa during your eVisa application, you must carry that same document and present it at the border.

The documents listed above are the standard requirements. Depending on your application, you may also need to provide extra documents, such as a birth certificate or proof of previous entry and exit from Morocco.
